Email, optional display or race name, preferences, and authentication identifiers.
Race entries, routes, telemetry, precise GPS during active races, finish confidence, in-app results, and recaps.
Run pace, imported activities, optional heart-rate/cadence signals, and integrity review events. Apple Health matching is not enabled in the default launch build.
Scorch uses location for nearby race discovery, live route progress, finish detection, and integrity review. During an active race, Scorch may continue collecting location while the app is in the background or the screen is locked if you grant permission.
We use data to operate races, discover nearby public races, calculate staggered starts, upload telemetry, detect finishes, verify integrity, notify users, provide support, and improve reliability.
Apple Health evidence matching is disabled in the default closed TestFlight release candidate. If Scorch later creates a separate permissioned Apple Health build, it will request Apple Health access only after the athlete chooses to grant permission.
Paid races, prizes, and payouts are disabled for the current free launch. Payment and payout data would only apply if those features are separately approved and enabled later.
