The fair start

Different paces.
One finish.

Scorch uses the race distance and each runner's recent pace to set start times. Slower paces start first. Faster paces chase. Everyone races the same mapped route toward the same finish.

Example start offsets. Start times come from race distance and each runner's recent pace.

Phase 1

Three ways to run.

Scheduled Race

Race live

Race other runners live on the same mapped route. Fair starts bring different paces toward one finish.

Anytime Run

Run private

Run a mapped route privately when it suits you, then come back and chase your route best.

Weekly ChallengePlanned

Coming next

One route, one Sunday deadline, one shared leaderboard. A clearly labeled next step — not available yet.

Live race

Follow the chase live.

  • The mapped route and your progress stay in view while you run.
  • The live gap tells you exactly how far the leader is — and when you're closing.
  • Useful signal warnings when GPS gets rough, instead of silent errors.

The finish

Understand the result.

  • Scorch saves the finish when route progress and the GPS signal agree.
  • Reviewed results separate final rank from raw finish order.
  • When a result is under review, the reason is explained in plain language.
